You know those days when you get home super hungry and extremely tired? And all you want is to eat something delicious but then you remind you’re on diet and need to avoid the pizza delivery?
For such days we have this salmon!!!
All you have to do is cutting the ingredientes, add some seasoning, roll in aluminum foil and bake it! In less than 20 minutes you have a healthy and rich dish without a lot of dirty things in your sink (and no fish smell in your house!).
Easy Baked Salmon
1/2 onion, sliced
1 leek, sliced (white and light green parts)
2 salmon pieces (about 7 oz. each)
1 lemon (slice half of it)
4 thyme sprigs
Preheat the oven at 400 degrees. Put a big square of aluminum foil inside a baking pan and make a little bed with onions and leek. Season with olive oil, salt and pepper. Above it, put the salmon pieces (skin down). Season with salt, pepper, olive oil, lemon juice and, on top of the fishes, put thyme and lemon slices.
Close the aluminum foil, making a bag for the salmon (leave an empty space above the salmon, so the air can circulate). Bake it for about 20 minutes, maximum. If you want your salmon underdone, bake it for 15 to 18 minutes.
Ready! So easy, not a lot of work and super delicious!
